confusion!!!

A young girl comes home happily and informed her parent that she had met a man who would marry her 

MOTHER: Is he a catholic? 
DAUGHTER: No, he is not. 
MOTHER: Then try to convert him 
DAUGHTER: All right mum.

After some months she comes back crying 

MOTHER: Why are you crying 
DAUGHTER: He says he's not going to marry me anymore
MOTHER: Why!?
DAUGHTER: I succeeded in convincing him now he's joining the seminary, he says he wants to be a priest! D; D; D;
