America's youngest convicted murderer released from prison at age 29 after serving 16 years
Curtis Jones, who was 12 years old at that time, was sentenced to 18 years
in prison for killing his father's wife, a murder he committed with his
13-year-old sister in 1999. He was released from prison yesterday at the
age of 29.
Curtis and Catherine Jones were arrested after they hatched a plot to kill
a male relative they claimed had been sexually abusing them. Curtis is the
nation's youngest convicted murderer.
